GT3 Cup - Series Details 20k7nuq

The Porsche GT3 Cup is a points-based series, consisting of 8 races on 8 different tracks. There will be qualifying before every race and the finishing order will be determined by what lobby you qualify for, example...If you qualify in lobby 3 you can finish no higher then 17th overall unless people who qualified above you DNF.

The Car:

No Upgrades

Tuning is allowed

The car may be painted with any livery, but must have the Porsche GT3 Cup Number Plate on the left and right side, and the number plate must have the drivers FMC# in it. The Porsche GT3 Cup number plate can be found at GLR Lothar's Storefront at no cost, search "FMC GT3 Cup".

It is now mandatory for you all to put a Turn 10 vinyl on your car since this series is sponsored by Turn 10.

Starting Lineup: Lobby Points
Collisions: On
Damage: Cosmetic
Race Timer: None

Qualifying Details:

Participants will recieve an invite from their pre-designated host around 9:45 AM EST/1:45 PM GMT.[/color] Qualifying will start promptly at 10:00am EST/2:00pm GMT. Qualifying lobbies will be set to 5 laps, however lap 5 is a cool down lap so the host can record competitor's fastest lap. There will be a roll off timer and collisions will be set to always off. Once qualifying is completed please remain online and wait patiently while the times are sorted and lobbies are assigned. You will then receive an invite to your race lobby.

Race Details:

Starts will be standing starts and the grid will be set with a 1 lap race and everyone will finish in the correct starting order. Restarts may occur if a driver lags out on the first lap, or 3 or more drivers are involved in the same incident on the first lap. Number of restarts are limited to 3.

Races are 25 laps unless otherwise indicated.

There will be a mandatory pit stop for each race and the pit window is between Laps 3 & 22.

In the event of a connection confliction, hosts are to follow the following procedure:

You must find out who the confliction is with:
a) Room Host invites all his players to room
b) Driver who can't get in then opens a new room (correct settings)
c) He invites everyone in
d) Whoever can't get in is where the confliction is
e) From these 2 drivers, the one with the better qualifying time will be allowed to race and the one who can't connect will receive last place points in that lobby.

Lagout or leaving before the end of lap 12 = last placed points in lowest room
Lagout or leaving after the end of lap 12 = last placed points in your room
Drivers who can't connect to their race room (see Connections above) = last placed points in your qualifying room
Drivers who couldn't race due to insufficient numbers (must have 4 competitors in the last lobby to race) = points for qualifying position

Championship Points Table:

GT3 Cup - Series Details 2mfkdqp

Note: We will be dropping each driver's worst finish at the end of the series. Final Points Standings will be based on each driver's best 7 finishes out of 8. This will allow each driver to miss 1 race in the series.

Bonus Points:

Earn up to 6 bonus points per race!

Participation - 4 Points
Win (In Your Lobby) - 1 Points
Fast Lap (In Your Lobby) - 1 Points

Teams

There will be a Teams Championship, however drivers are not required to be on a team. Teams must have at least 2 drivers and no more then 3. Team points, for each race, will be based on the 2 highest scorers from each team.

Teams must run the same livery.

This would indicate that each race is 25 laps. So I would assume that each race is 25 laps long since they are not designated differently. Wink

This is my series. 7 out of 8 tracks are my favourite, very good car (S-R2 race cars are my favourite) and the race is on a time where I really can give 110% and I'm not falling asleep.

Changed May 28th race from New York New with chicanes to New York Old without chicanes. Reason the track with chicanes is not raceable.

I think turn 10 is supposed to send them directly to us since the results are sent to them.

Thanks for getting our team to victory btw, all I did was show up for half the races and scored no points for the team. Laughing

I'm give them 30 days to respond to my original input and if i don't hear back I'll go to my back up plan. I'd like for everyone to get paid well before FM4 comes out on Oct 11.

I received my credits from Turn 10 today for this. If you didn't get yours your gammer tag may have changed. Let me know.

It looks like 4 people had gammer tag issues:

VxR Polaris, MOPAR001, JaxEquipt, Boss Hamster

I have corrected Mopar001 and Boss Hamster.

I don't have an update for the other two.
