Re: FMC StockHatch Series 1 - Q and A
Answers to pre-questions:
I can only get the SEAT to 2688lbs. The 04 civic is naturally aspirated bc adding a single turbo puts it over 250 hp. The mini cooper has a engine swap so that it has a single turbocharger. Why is the 07 civic so heavy, bc it would dominate if it was lighter!

Thanks for the reply. How do you gift a car without "friending" one of the officials on XBL?

It cannot be done. Simply send a FL request to any one--or all three, if you'd like--and you then should be able to gift the car.
Re: FMC StockHatch Series 1 - Q and A
you got it. Thanks EZT Neo 45. I believe I sent you a friend request already.

The cars can be tuned. However, the build cannot be changed once it's inspected.
In other words, tuning has to do with Toe, Caster, Air Pressure, Final Drive, etc. Build has to do with Air Filter, Rims, etc. Once chosen, these items cannot be changed after the car's inspected.

According to Rules and Regulations wrote:QUALIFYING
Please be online and ready to race at 19:00 CST / 01:00 GMT (UK) / 09:00 West OZ (Tues). All drivers will get an invite from their room host. If you do not receive an invite by 19:10 CST / 01:10 GMT (UK) / 09:10 West OZ (Tues), please inform the Series Organizer or Support Staff.
Qualifying will take place at 19:20 CST / 01:20 GMT (UK) / 09:20 West OZ (Tues), and you will have five laps to set your best certified lap. Please space out on the opening lap to give each other room so you can all have clear, unimpeded qualifying laps.
To clarify this underlined section further, Qualifying is five laps--four are and should be flying laps. Now, some hosts may set the room to six laps where after Lap 5, everyone stops so the host is able to collect the times.
Please note, also, the other section that covers what to do if you have not received your invite.
Re: FMC StockHatch Series 1 - Q and A
Marcio, in my lobby we did 6 laps. But the 6th lap is just so that the host can get all the times down and nobody crosses the finish line until this is completed and checked with each driver.
Is this what you are referring to ??
Just saw Neo's post above, explaining it all.

Re: FMC StockHatch Series 1 - Q and A
Well in my Lobby we did just 4 hot laps, and in other lobby's was the same, i just think is not fair and something has to be done, so that we are all in the same circumstances. i felt very uncomfortable, knowing the was going to be just 4 qualifying laps, because i was expecting the normal 5 laps like always...

Sorry for the misunderstanding of the room setting by your host, but anyone that notices the room settings are not according to the official rules, should speak up. Sometimes the host may make a mistake and doesn't realize it.
I've done that before.

Re: FMC StockHatch Series 1 - Q and A
In a 6 laps qualy you still only do 4 hot laps. 1 slower lap to confirm a non dirty lap 4 hot laps - 5 and the sixth lap to enable the host to grab the times. To reiterate, the 6 lap is not a qualifying hot lap.
Even in a 5 lap qualy, you only do 4 hot laps, but this just leaves the host scrambling to get the times before they disapear from the screen. If you want to hot lap the first lap, then that's up to the individual driver and then you get 5 hot laps. But, you run the risk of them all being dirty.
Don't see the problem here. In both instances there is only 4 hot laps.
Looks like the suggestion is that we need to change the rules to give folks 5 hot laps ??

Re: FMC StockHatch Series 1 - Q and A
Sorry guys so it is 5 total laps? 4 flying laps and 1st lap to set a clean lap.

This isn't any different than the previous five series EZT has put on at the IFCA (4, including test series) and TORA (1). Not sure I'm understanding the problem.
Rules have been consistent from series to series, virtually minimal changes. I'm just not getting the issue here.
Re: FMC StockHatch Series 1 - Q and A
I think the problem is here is that some people want 6 laps so 5 fast laps and the 6th lap is for host to collect times. As oppose to what we have been doing which is 4 fast laps and stopping on the 5th lap for time collection.
I'm fine with the way it has been done, which is 4 fast laps and a cool down, 5th lap for time collecting.
Technically you can't call what we're currently running a 5 lap qualifier. It's more like a 4 lap qualifier with 1 cool down lap for time collection. I hope I summarized that right. I'm good with either qualifying format you guys choose to run.
