SSTC - Series Details

The Seat Supercup Team Challenge is a points-based series, consisting of 8 races on 8 different tracks. There will be qualifying before every race and the finishing order will be determined by what lobby you qualify for, example...If you qualify in lobby 3 you can finish no higher then 17th overall unless people who qualified above you DNF.

Teams

Teams will consist of 3-4 racers each, depending on sign up numbers. Teams will be randomly put together by Series Management. How? First, drivers will be put into tiers based on skill rank. Then the highest skill ranked drivers will be split up and they will become the Team Captains. One tier at a time all drivers from the remaining tiers will be randomly placed into these Teams, using a hat draw method. Team points, for each race, will be based on the 2 highest individual scorers from each team. The SSTC Championship will be determined from these Team Points.

The Livery:

The car may be painted with any livery, but must have the SSTC Number Plate on the left and right side, and the number plate must have the drivers FMC# in it. The SSTC number plate can be found at GLR1FastRedneck's Storefront at no cost, search "FMC SSTC". You must also have "www.fmchallenge.darkbb.com" on both sides of your car.

Teams may run the same livery, but it is not required.

The Schedule:

Races are on Saturday's at 9:00 PM EST, all races are 25 laps

Round 2 - June 18, 2011 - Catalunya National
Round 3 - June 25, 2011 - Silverstone International
Break for 4th of July Holiday Weekend
Round 4 - July 9, 2011 - Road Atlanta
Round 5 - July 16, 2011 - Bugatti Circuit
Round 6 - July 23, 2011 - Motegi East
Round 7 - July 30, 2011 - Suzuka West
Round 8 - August 6, 2011 - Mugello Club

Basic Lobby Settings:

Starting Lineup: Random
Collisions: On

Race Timer: None

Qualifying Details:

Participants will recieve an invite from their pre-designated host around 8:45 PM EST. Qualifying will start promptly at 9:00 PM EST. Qualifying lobbies will be set to 5 laps, with lap 5 being a cool down lap so the host can record competitor's fastest lap. There will be a roll off timer and collisions will be set to always off. Once qualifying is completed please remain online and wait patiently while the times are sorted and lobbies are assigned. You will then receive an invite to your race lobby.

Race Details:

Starts will be rolling starts at 60 MPH. Restarts may occur if a driver lags out on the first lap, or 3 or more drivers are involved in the same incident in the first lap. Number of restarts are limited to 3.

There will be a mandatory pit stop for each race and the pit window is between Laps 3 & 22.

Conflictions:

In the event of a connection confliction, hosts are to follow the following procedure:

You must find out who the confliction is with:
a) Room Host invites all his players to room
b) Driver who can't get in then opens a new room (correct settings)
c) He invites everyone in
d) Whoever can't get in is where the confliction is
e) From these 2 drivers, the one with the better qualifying time will be allowed to race and the one who can't connect will receive last place points in that lobby.

Lagout or leaving before the end of lap 12 = last placed points in lowest room
Lagout or leaving after the end of lap 12 = last placed points in your room
Drivers who can't connect to their race room (see Connections above) = last placed points in your qualifying room
Drivers who couldn't race due to insufficient numbers (must have 4 competitors in the last lobby to race) = points for qualifying position

Championship Points Table:

Notes:

1 - We will be dropping each Team's worst finish at the end of the series. Final Points Standings will be based on each Team's best 7 finishes out of 8. This will allow each Team to miss 1 race in the series.

2 - Even though the SSTC is soley based on Team Points, we will still be tracking the Individual Points for the FMC Championship Points Standings.

Earn up to 6 bonus points per race!
