Was looking forward to trying out turn 2 tonight, but I got some bad news just now. My wife's Grandma, who we just had a 100th birthday party for in January has been ill for the last 2 weeks, and has suddenly taken a turn for the worse. We are going to see her tonight.

Amendment of what I said above... just ran a few laps and its not entirely what I do... I only drift up so the right two tires are at the upper level of the two tire tracks (not all above them). And there is a dark patch on the road beyond the lightpole shadow that I actually make my final cut in to the corner at...

That definately is OLD

I blew it for my team last night, by hitting the wall in qualifying, as I hit the wall on turn 2 on the 2nd lap and ended up with a 28.7, Luckily, I made room 2.
Then I messed up Neo and Xcess coming around turn 4 by passing them on the inside. I though I was clear by the start of the straight, but maybe because Xcess was going to pit, he couldn't make it with me on his inside. Neo tried to go around on the out side, but connected with the wall to get major damage.

I did finally end up 3rd after starting 8th, which I should be happy with. fasredneck got stuck up on the wall after turn 1 on lap 50 and I passed to for the 3rd place finish.
Inviseco raced a good race for the win.

I need to watch my replay to see what actually happened.

My biggest problem when passing people is that I can not see whom I'm passing all the time in order to call out the names of the people I'm passing.

Lobby 3 has now been finalized.

GLR Asteroid did not make the required Green Flag pit and therefore has been penalized due to gaining an unfair advantage in his lobby. His finishing position has been changed to 8th in lobby 3 or overall 24th in the race.

I apologize to the other racers in my lobby. I thought that as I followed 2 fellow racers, I had fullfilled my pit requirement. Apparantly this was under a caution and did not count. I should have pitted again on a "Green" lap. Embarassed

There....I told you all I was a newbie, but as time goes by I am sure I will pick this NASCAR thing up. Shocked

Again, I apologize, I was not trying to gain any unfair advantage, just made a basic error. Embarassed

Same issue here as with Redneck, I am shown in the opening post as running the Ford. I was actually in the Chevy (see mikem's picture above).

Don't worry about it dude, we all make mistakes. I am new at this too and I'm surprised I did everything right. I just tried to stay out of the faster cars way! lol

Ok Asteroid... I know you are a newbie, but here is the thing - This is stock car racin' 1. No crying 2. No apologizin' 3. When you come out of the official's trailer, its best to kick and scream and throw some stuff. Complain about "you didn do nuthin wrong" etc... 4. Go back out there next week and kick some azz on the track! Wink

PS we know you weren't trying to gain unfair advantage... just how it turned out. Back out there at Motegi - we actually have to touch the brakes this week.

Hmmm yeah I see it correct in qualifying but must have not sorted the results properly. Will fix. Even my car is wrong... found problem and fixed.

Your problem is a little different. I was told you were in the Ford after qualifying (or at least thats what I marked down). I see you raced in the Chevy and I assume you qualified in the Chevy as well? I made the correction.
