I apologize if this comes off as rude, but I hope your not talking about me. I race all the time and my "trueskill" goes up and down with it. I've always said the true skill level in Forza is BS.


Also mar B ond, if you didn't know you can map the clutch button to the "A" button and simply press "X" and "A" at the same time to down shift and visa-versa for up shifting. Easy to get used and works great.

No Mopar...not you! Sorry, I have reworded my post to make it clearer. I would never call anyone out by GT...the guilty ones know exactly who they are.

Mar B...please learn the clutch. Get with me online and I will tell you how to make the "A" button your clutch. Like AAR Mopar said, you simply press "A" and "B" simultaneously to upshift...and "A" and "X" simultaneously to downshift. It's actually very easy to adjust to it, and you will not regret it. The clutch cannot be a cheat....it is built into the game...and 98% of the drivers use it. Saying the clutch is a cheat is like saying a manual transmission, TCS, STB.....or the racing line is a cheat. Adapt to the game...and master it...you are an amazing driver and you would be hell to deal with if you used the clutch!

That's what I thought you meant, I just didn't want people to get the wrong idea about me seeing how I just started racing with you all. Sorry about the confusion.

You guys don't understand. When using the right stick for gas and brake, like I do, it is very difficult to use the clutch. It took me a month to do it well enough to not fry the motor every shift. It is the "claw" method. Very uncomfortable. Mar, I have learned to do it, so can you. I felt it was unfair at first too, I would struggle to keep up even when I was owning everyone in the corners, they would just pull away while accelerating down the straights. Now I use the clutch always, even in R1 cars which it is argued to be slower with the clutch, and I love it. I have gone from a lobby 2/3 driver to a lobby 1 driver after learning the clutch "claw" method.

thanks Gashi. Some don't read the posts correctly and go bashing. As right stick driver you must shift with shoulder buttons. That's not so easy after some laps. Then there's only 1 setting for it (was 4). Using clutch then requires 3 finger movements on 1 side. That's all. Didn't wanne create a big upset. Just reacted to a closer racing comment. Try my best. Yep. Middle finger for clutch, pointer for downshift, thumb for steering on the left hand. Right hand is a little simpler with the pointer to shift up and the thumb to use the gas and brake. This prevents being able to use both the gas and brake at the same time, which is also a disadvantage, but less severe than the clutch issue.

Wow...rt stick for throttle?? Never heard of anyone doing that before! To each his own, that does make clutching with the A very difficult and no prob Mar...just tryin to help out.

Yeah, I gave that setting a go, didn't really like it though it can be more presice than using the triggers!

Redneck, here is what I got for race lobbies in race 4.....

The points don't look right....Shooter had a better time then me but i scored more points according to the spread sheet.

ya, somthing is not right, i finished ahead of midnight, stonyer and nelly but they all got more points than me.
stonyer had fast lap so maybe he should be ahead of me though.

yea somehow i only got 70 points when i came 12th overall in race 3, thats suppose to be 89..........and i also notice that mar b ond got no points but he raced and finished ahead of me

If the points table and bonus points are all up to date then I should have gotten 102 points for finishing 3rd and mikem should have 101 for 4th if you add the participation bonus. Thanks.

I must have raced alot worse than i thought, ProfeLoco got more points than me and he didn't even race!!!

Yeah whole bunch of people who finished behind me,DNF'd or did not even show got more points than me...i mean i know i'm slow but

Something wrong with the points...Boost has no points and he raced last night.

Midnite, b0x should get last place points not 24th. He was trying to connect but he did not race. The guys below raced so they should earn more points.
