Race 3 - May 14 - 25 Laps

Track - Laguna Seca

Race is 25 laps. Manadatory pit stop between laps 3 and 22.

Car - 2008 #2 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup

No Upgrades allowed/Tuning is allowed

Qualifying:

Qualifying will begin at PROMPLY at 10:00am EST/2:00pm GMT - so please be online and ready to go because we will start with out you.

Qualifying will be 5 laps, laps 1-4 are flying laps and lap 5 is a cool down lap so that the host can get everyones fastest lap.

Race:

Please be patient while we are sorting qualifying times. Please remain online as this will expedite the process once everything is sorted. Once we are done you will receive an invite from your race lobby host.

To set the grid we will run a 1 lap race and everyone will finish in the correct starting order. There is a manadatory pit stop between laps 3 and 22, which means you cannot pit before the start of lap 3 and you must pit by the end of lap 22. Failure to do so will result in a points penalty.

At the end of the race the lobby host will post the results along with the total race time of the race winner and the competitor who ran the fastest lap.

So BulletDodger, I was checking out the replay on your storefront. How in the hell do you get both front and back tires to heat up so much? My fronts are hovering aroun 160-165 and my rears are some where around 175-180. Your tires are like 220 front and back, how is that possible? I'm asking because I think the extra tire heat gives you more grip, am I wrong?

I've been practicing for Laguna and I can't seem to find any more time. Running 1:29's average right now with tire temps above. Please give me some guidance. Thanks.

I think my tire pressure is set at 28.5 on both the front and rear. Are you practicing on cosmetic damage? Can't really explain how I get the heat in the tires. I just go as fast as I can.

Bulletdodger, Do you mind getting together with me sometime and following me around laguna and give me some feed back?

Between school and work its hard for me to get on. I usually leave at 7 am and don't get home till 7 or 8 pm. Look for me on friday, those are my days off, and I sometimes get online.

Cool, I'll be on Friday doing some final practice before race time on saturday.

Feeling pretty confident about tomorrow's race, my goal is to make lobby 1 and finish on the podium.

Just watching the FA cup final, will post results after.....

Well, just watched the the oldest comp in club sports in the world...the 130th English FA cup !!. 88,643 packed into the cathederal of world football, Wembley Stadium. Half the stadium in sky blue ( Manchester city..- not united ), the other half in red and white ( Stoke City ).Man city last won this in 1969 and took home the trophy today !!. Congrats to the Sky blues !!.

Good racing fellas, Insanity ran away with it and unforunately Ninja left on 2nd lap due to constant lagging. Must give a shout out to Karbon as he had to drop out due to a conflict with Dabb, who had the better qualy time....so sorry mate, been there myself and it sucks !!
