Race 1 - 25 Laps

Track - Road Atlanta

Car - 2008 #2 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup

No Upgrades allowed/Tuning is allowed

Qualifying:

Qualifying will begin at PROMPLY at 10:00am EST/2:00pm GMT - so please be online and ready to go because we will start with out you.

Qualifying will be 5 laps, laps 1-4 are flying laps and lap 5 is a cool down lap so that the host can get everyones fastest lap.

Race:

Please be patient while we are sorting qualifying times. Please remain online as this will expedite the process once everything is sorted. Once we are done you will receive an invite from your race lobby host.

To set the grid we will run a 1 lap race and everyone will finish in the correct starting order. There is a manadatory pit stop between laps 3 and 22, which means you cannot pit before the start of lap 3 and you must pit by the end of lap 22. Failure to do so will result in a points penalty.

At the end of the race the lobby host will post the results along with the total race time of the race winner and the competitor who ran the fastest lap.

Looks like I may be missing this first race, I have to work 7-5 Saturday. Bummer too, I was doing okay on this track... then again I hate it with this car, so its all good in my book

I tuned the car and it feels better, but I cant hit the 21.2 i did with the worse tune... Whats wrong with this car?

Weston I feel the same way. I'm not a great tuner, but my best lap was with the stock tune. I think with rednecks setup I can improve. But, I won't be around for this race

Regarding the teams, do we need 3 drivers to qualify as a team or is 2 ok?

2 is the requirement but you may want a 3rd incase one of you can't make a race.

Hate to miss any race at Road Atlanta but no choice surgery Friday and not going to be home till some time Saturday afternoon.

I think the best thing is to find a reliable stable tune. As long as youre not sliding out of every fast sweeper or bumpy apex, you might be ok.

The best conversation of the race: We were all discussing if we used a wheel or controller and FACEPALMER spoke up and said he was using a Super Nintendo controller....LMAO!!!

All that pain and suffering only to lag into my own lobby while running in a comfortable 2nd on lap 20.

Yea Viper, I seriously do not feel satisfied with my 2nd place. I was down 12XX ft, and fought to 6XX or 7XX, and then next thing I know you were gone. Sorry hopefully we can fight it out next week.

Really good race. Bit Scrappy on first lap but no big off's and everyone seemed happy to carry on.
Lost Shizzlepimp 4D on Lap 4 and lost Swaley 5D on Lap 19.

Sorry for the first restart in Lobby 1 guys. Hit the tires coming out of the last turn and bounced out in front of EZT Neverwinter. Completely my fault.

Looks like that part of the day was a bad time for racing, total of 4 lag outs.

It's cool dope... I'll be back. I did knock down some 1:21's by the end (which were pb's) and I think I was about 14 sec behind Insanity just before I saw that sickening stream of drivers leave my room..... Total race time was 35:06 something or other after I was finished cursing and throwing stuff around and fishing for my camera while driving. Next week it is...
