Behave !!....behave.
As ringmaster says, there are more than a few of us that do not get the same times as Diablo, Lothar, Mikem and the like. If I can find you on the FL, I will send you the tune that I am using. Maybe it will help.

Steering wheel < controller?
I just picked up a steering wheel, Mad Catz MC2. I'm running 2 seconds slower than using the controller....wtf? Anyone else experience this when they switched to using a wheel? I might have to just stick with the controller for this race to be somewhat competitive....

Re: GT3 Cup - General Discussion
I tried the wheel once a few years ago in FM2 and was absolutely terrible at it. Everybody I know that uses the wheel said it took a little while to get back up to speed but once they did it was well worth it.

Yeah, give it some time. It's take a little to get used to the wheel over the controller!!
Re: GT3 Cup - General Discussion
Will do.... I'll keep practicing with the wheel.

Good maybe the operative word but I sent you and Shooter my GT3 Cup / Team Venom design (Its the same as I was running in practice last week if you recall). Feel free to do what you want with it. Everything is unlocked to adjust as seen fit.

Its definitely a learning curve. Even moving from wheel manufacturer to wheel manufacturer. I lost a second or two just moving from M$ wheel to Fanatic wheel. Your input cues are very different with the wheel compared to a controller so you have to learn all new motor memory and timing. You can't expect to be faster with a wheel initially as a result. Accept that and stick with it... your times will come back down as long as you keep at it. Going back and forth will only slow the progress.
Re: GT3 Cup - General Discussion
Thanks for the replies. I just thought I'd share this. I read on the Forzamotorsport.net forum about others having difficulties with switching to a wheel and someone had mention playing around with the wheel input sensitivities to cure the problem. So I gave that shot and the wheel feels much much better now. That alone got me back on pace with my controller time.
What i did...
Reduced Max steering dead zone which sped up how quickly the game responds to steering input.
Reduced min Acceleration and Deceleration deadzone so that the throttle\brake pedal would be more sensitive and gave me more range with the pedals.
I tested this out by making my adjustments in the Advance Control section then fire up a test session and watch the telemetry screen to see how my pedal movement were registered in the game. You can do the same with steering. I suggest for steering, you run some laps to see how it feels. I'm able to recover from slides much easier with faster steering sensitivity. Hopes this helps someone.

No 10am EDT in the USA is 2pm GMT...the USA is in daylight saving time or summer time if you will. When we moved 1 hour ahead instead of being 5 hours behind GMT we are now 4 hours behind

I'm working on it. Hold tight - they will be up before the next race. With Lothar back on sabbatical I have a bit more on my plate and wasn't prepared for it. It will get done though.
Re: GT3 Cup - General Discussion
So, can anyone offer a tune or tuning advice for the Bugatti track or an overall tune for the GT3 to the noob over here? I haven't done much tuning in the past and don't have a lot of experience with it. To be honest I've always bought tunes from the storefront when I felt like I needed them. Any help with this is greatly appreciated. BTW, I bought a couple of "GT3 Cup" tunes yesterday off the storefront and one of the tunes increased the PI points. That made me a little hesitant to use the tune for the race saturday. Can tuning increase your PI?

Re: GT3 Cup - General Discussion
Thanks Ringmaster.
I knew there could be no upgrades. I just wasn't sure if a tune could increase your PI. I'm going to start tinkering with tuning over time but for now I'm just going to concentrate on things like not smashing into you guys and running you off the track! LOL. I'll be sending you that FR shortly. Thanks again.
