Welcome To The Suzuka Circuit

Suzuka International Racing Course, Suzuka Circuit for short, is a motorsport race
track located in Ino, Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, Japan and operated by Mobilityland
Corporation, the subsidiary of Honda Motor Co., Ltd.

Designed as a Honda test track in 1962 by John Hugenholtz, Suzuka is one of few
circuits in the world to have a "figure 8" layout, with the back straight passing over
the front section by means of an overpass.

The circuit has been modified three times:

In 1983 a chicane was put at the last curve to slow the cars into the pit straight
and the Degner curve was made into two corners instead of one long curve; the
circuit was also made considerably safer in 1983 by adding more Armco, more run
off areas and removing straw bales leading into vegetation.

In 2002, the chicane was slightly modified, 130R was also modified and some of
the Snake curves were made a bit straighter and faster.

In 2003, the chicane was made slightly faster and closer to the 130R.

The circuit can be used in three configurations; the full circuit, the "Suzuka East"
and "Suzuka West" configuration. The "East" portion of the course consists of the
pit straight to the first half of the Dunlop curve (turn 7), before leading back to
the pit straight via a tight right-hander. The "West" course is made up of the
other part of the full circuit, including the crossover bridge.

Qualifying:

Participants will recieve an invite for their Qualifying Lobby approximately 10
before the hour. Qualifying will start at 9:00 pm et sharp. Qualifying will consist
of 1 up to speed lap, followed by 3 hot laps. On lap 5 please stop and let the
Host collect all the lap times.There will be qualifying for Race 1 only, this is for
lobby placement and to equalize the competition. After race 1 lobbies will be set
by Average Race Points.

Race 1:

Participants will recieve an invite from their Race Lobby Host shortly after qualifying.
Depending on the number of attendees, the Race Lobbies will be have between 8
and 16 drivers each and are set to a Random Grid Lineup. The start will be a standing
start at the green. Restarts may occur if at least 2 drivers lag out on the first lap,
or 3 or more drivers wreck on the first lap. Number of restarts are limited to 3.
Participants will recieve an invite from their Race Lobby Host shortly after qualifying.

All races will be 30 laps. There will be a mandatory pit stop between laps 3 and 28.

Finishing order is determined by Driver's Total Race Times from all lobbies.

Attention: Drivers must collect their own Total Race Times and give them
to the Host at the end of each race. Each participant must have a way (pen and
paper, camera, etc.) to record their own Total Race Time. Times will be verified by
replay whenever possible. If a driver fails to report a time to the host, and the time
cannot be found on a replay, that driver will not be scored.
