Race 6 - Infineon Long

Welcome To Infineon Raceway
Race 6 - Infineon Long 2u46and

Infineon Raceway will mark 44 years of historic racing action in the Sonoma Valley during the
2012 season. Opened in 1968, then-Sears Point Raceway was constructed on 720 acres of
property that was a working dairy farm in the early 1900s. The facility hosted its first official
event, an SCCA Enduro, on Dec. 1 of that year. Since then, the facility has grown to 1,600
acres and expanded into one of the premier motor sports venues in the country, hosting 340
days of racing activity each year, including the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NHRA Full Throttle
Drag Racing and the IZOD IndyCar® Series.

The twists of the 12-turn road course and the lightning-quick quarter-mile drag strip have
hosted all of the biggest names and some of the most historic moments in racing history.

Start Time: 9:00 P.M. ET U.S.

There will be a mandatory pit stop between laps 3 and 23.

The Race Lobbies will ultimately have between 8 and 16 drivers, depending on how many
actually show. Final race results will be based on Total Race Times from all drivers.

I am not a big fan of this track, it's not multi car friendly. It's great for hotlapping though...if your into that!

I have not been able to have any series races on this track yet, but I have had some pretty good races with buddies of mine. This track can support really good racing, there are a lot of places you can pass on this track. This is going to be fun.

I quit on lap 6 because of dogski's mic. I think the race should have been stopped because there was no way to communicate because of the feedback. Just my thoughts on what happened and i will leave it at that. This was a great series and it is a shame that something so simple as a messed up mic ruined the last race in the end. Cya next series.

I don't know what you guys were hearing, but all I could here was loud ringing in my headset. I figured nobody else was having problems so i decided to continue with the race. On lap 3 my screen started glitching, changing my driving view to the rear, and killing my throttle at the same time....very wierd stuff. I thought it was my controller, but it's not. Anyway, I could not drive my car looking backwards, so I bailed. Hope the race went well for the rest of ya!

I was hearing the ringing the whole time and on the screen dogski's name was lit up the whole time so I think everyone was dealing with it. I still have a headache from it.

I tought it was just me, otherwise I would have restarted the race. Oh well...shit happens...what can we do? One thing for sure, we WILL race again! Thanks for participating guys.

Finishing order is a little messed up as Brizzo finished ahead of Bullet but their total times were so that Bullet showed up first on the results screen.

redneck i had the same issue wit the controller glitching i thought it was my controller so i quit out also, and i've never heard the mics do that before!

I was hearing whatever was coming out of riks mic as well. The whole finishing order thing was wierd. Brizzo finished ahead of me, but it showed me finishing ahead. Something went wrong with the end of the race and the results. I finished 2nd. I was happy with the fastest lap though, didn't think it was possible. santa

WOW sorry if I messed everything up Embarassed

I don't think it was me though. I had my mic unplugged from the start of the race. Only plugged it in to call out pits and the totally unplugged it again. My stupid Fanatec wheel has been making my mic act weird so I have been unpluggin it.

I was experiencing super lag at times and the screen showed Mike's MIC popping up and a lot of feedback in my sound.

So weird things were happenning all around.

I had a lot of fun racing in the series guys. I am pretty new to all of the series racing and tried to give you guys a run for your money when I could. Most of you are just out of my league. Just fast.

Don't quit out of races! affraid

I started with 0 laps of practice, rolled the car on lap 2, hit the turn 1 wall and spun off on lap 15, got back to it and ended up winning the lobby on the last lap. Was great fun with you guys, love this track and car. See you next series.
