Not sure, but I think that is a carry-over from an FM3 template Bullit.

I know we plan to run full lobbies if we get enough drivers to fill every lobby. Very Happy Very Happy
If not, then we do plan to equalize the lobbies so that everybody has a race, and not just some hotlapping.

cheers cheers

This will be interesting from the standpoint this will be my first competition in FM4 with my wheel. I'm doing okay with B class (and lower) FWD cars. Get into A class, it's another story. Have a lot more work to do there!

I don't think so Bullet, it all depends on who makes it to the party! I think we are going to get as many in a lobby as possible, provided there is no degradation to the quality of our racing experience (ie. Major Lag issues, etc.) We are getting some practice time in loading as many people into a lobby as will answer the invites to test out the resulting gameplay. I think it has worked out fairly well so far, we will see what happens as the series gets closer.

Ahh you must have been looking the the Host Instructions, I have fixed it. It said 8, I forgot to change it to say max 16 players. The amount of drivers in each lobby will depend on how many drivers actually show up to race. We will divide the lobbies as even as possible. The lobbies will have no less than 8 and no more than 16 each.

I'ld team with you Gashi but unfortunately I will miss at least the first 2 races and I don't think I will be home in time on the 19th to make the 3rd race as well. Missing half the races does not a good team mate make! Wink Sorry.

Thanks Midnight, I got one offer, just waiting on confirmation of it. I think I should make all of the races if things work out properly, or I might be in Hawaii for one of the races. I guess I should look at the schedule a little closer.

Interested in this series, but two questions :
1 Simulation steering will be force on ? I prefer yes, for the driving experience.
2 It's that ok to force off the b-line ? We all are forza vets, clean drivers ;I think this will increase the racing experience.

Thank you.

As a rule for appealing to the masses and taking in consideration that not all the people who race @ the FMC are Forza Vets, I believe we are going to allow any and all assists to anyone who decides they want to use them. We do not want to run off any potential racers in any way, shape or form by forcing them to disable an assist they may not be comfortable doing without. Also not everyone uses a wheel and simulated steering on a controller can be difficult for some at times. We like to cater to ALL ability racers in our series and I, for one, do not want to change the way we do things here.

I hope you understand and enjoy your time racing here at the FMC, we enjoy having everyone participate in all our series!

General Chat Empty What time in game??

Post  Rikdogski Tue Nov 01, 2011 6:55 pm

Hey fellas, I think I am going to be getting in on the series.
Just curious as to which lighting option will be chosen for the first race at indianapolis GP???????????

Better yet it would be helpful if all tracks were specicied which time of day will be raced. Thanks.

Good point. I know with the stock car race we qualified in the morning and raced in the afternoon. If not specified I would hazard a guess that it will be run in the afternoon time frame in game. However it is up to that particular series's organizer to specify if it will be different. And it is always good to ask if your not sure on anything that is done here. We want everyone to have a good time and enjoy competing here as much as we like to. Smile

Fortunately this is "pre-season." This will offer an opportunity to fix bugs, such as was experienced last night, for when it "really" counts.

Unfortunately most of the bugs are in the servers. I know every time we try to do a big lobby (10 or more) we always have problems. I believe we may have to go back to 8 person lobbies to fix it.
