Re: Round 8 - Mugello Full
The Lobby Lineup is figured by each driver's Average Series Points for the races they have competed in. If you look at the red column (AVG) you will see the average points for all races that the drivers have competed in. The drivers that are shaded in yellow have missed at least the past 3 races or have stated that they have quit the series, and these have been removed from the lineup. The drivers shaded in white are in the lineup. If any of the drivers shaded in yellow come back, you can see where they would fit into the lineup.
The reason we set the lobbies based on average points for races competed in is to keep competition equal in all lobbies. Example: Look at Bullet above. Bullet made the first 3 races and this put his average points at #3. Bullet has since missed 4 races. Although he has dropped dramatically in the overall points, his average points (for races competed in) would still put him in Lobby 1 with equal competition...if he returns.
On the other hand, if we averaged all races, then Bullet would be racing in the last lobby. This would not be equal and fair competition for all in that lobby. The other drivers in his lobby would have no chance at the win...or bonus points.
We want things to be as fair and equal as possible for everyone involved, and this system does just that.

Re: Round 8 - Mugello Full
Totally agree with this logic. As a driver that is usually in the nlower tier lobbies, the most unfair thing would be to put a well known much faster driver in my lobby. No fun and no chance of getting a good score. The faster driver would just be hotlapping, and there's no fun in that either.
Long live the system !!!!!!!! LOL

Hats off to Wingnut with the victory, but a special shout out to Diablo and Shooter for the funnest race I think I have ever had. Completely insane passes, two wide and even three wide racing we had. EPIC.
Also would like to thank series organizers for all the hard work and effort with keeping up on points and organizing rooms. You guys did a fantastic job and am looking forward to lots more racing with all of you.

Re: Round 8 - Mugello Full
Hey guys I'm not going to type out all the results as lobby 1 was 1st-8th and lobby 2 was 9th-15th.
The battle in lobby 2 was very intense, Abe and I stayed within 100 feet nearly the entire race. There were numerous lead changes, clean racing all the way around. The top 6 were within 500 feet after pit stops cycled through and if you look at the times we were all still very close at the end. It looked like a restrictor plate Nascar race the way we were all bunched up going down the front stretch some times.
Sounds like the finale was amazing all the way around, great series guys! Looking forward to the Supercup in June.

Thanks Shooter, don't worry it will take more than one missed race to keep me away, great series Guy's.
Re: Round 8 - Mugello Full
So friggin pissed I missed this last race. Had my little Clio all raging and raring to go. Uninvited guests turn up and stay until gone midnite...I tried to sneak away, but the wife had me by the ear.....bummer !!.
Great series FMC. Thanks to all who had a hand in making this a success !!!.
