What is your Connection Confliction policy?

Re: General Discussion
You mean if a driver can't connect to a lobby?
A connection conflict is always between 2 people, if there is a conflict, the player has to tell it the host. Than the player who has the confliction will try to host. The player who can't connect now, is the other player where the conflict is. If they can't solve that problem very quickly, the player with more average points (or higher trueskill on 1st race) will allowed to race. Often not open NAT settings are the reasons for a connection conflict.

Re: General Discussion
TrueSkill is only used for the very first race for any series here, then is setup using series points from race 2 on, for the time being. We are working on a ranking/rating system for our drivers so we can avoid people dumping TrueSkill rank to manipulate the system. It is unfortunate that people try to work the system to their advantage instead of just racing like normal drivers. We do not want to go to a qualifying system for races because of the extra time and work involved including making race night a much longer drawn out process for all involved. I don't think the majority of people, us as admins as well, want to go from a process that takes about an hour on race night to one that could run 2 or more hours long (keep in mind some of our drivers are european based and race at 2 or 3 in the morning). Things get delayed as it is just working out connection issues at race time and we just want everyone to get in, race and have a great time doing it.
