The Clio Challenge - Series Details

The Clio Challenge is a points-based series, consisting of 8 races on 8 different tracks. The series features race finishes that are determined by Total Race Time. In other words you are racing against everyone in the series, not just the racers in your lobby.

The Car:

2007 Renault Clio RS 197 / PI=C425

Upgrades:
Engine - No upgrades
Platform and Handling - All Race Upgrades
Drivetrain - All Race Upgrades
Tires and Rims - Race Tire Compound, Max Tire Width, Stock Size Rims, Any Make Rim That Keeps The Car At C425.
Aero - No aero upgrades
Conversions - No engine conversions

Tuning is allowed

The car may be painted with any livery, but must have the Clio Challenge Number Plate on the left and right side, and the number plate must have the drivers FMC# in it. The number plate can be found at GLR1FastRedneck's Storefront at no cost, search "FMC Clio".

The Schedule:

Races are on Saturdays at 8:00 P.M. EST U.S.

March 26 2011 - Catalunya National - 30 laps (Pit 3-27)
April 2 2011 - Le Mans Bugatti - 25 laps (Pit 3-22)
April 9 2011 - Sunset Club - 30 laps (Pit 3-27)
April 16 2011 - Silverstone International - 25 laps (Pit 3-22)
April 23 2011 - Sebring Club - 30 laps (No pit lane)
April 30 2011 - Laguna Seca - 25 laps (Pit 3-22)
May 7 2011 - Suzuka East - 30 laps (Pit 3-27)
May 14 2011 - Mugello Full - 25 laps (Pit 3-22)

Basic Lobby Settings:

Starting Lineup: Reverse True Skill for Round 1 / Reverse Average Points Round 2 through 8.
Collisions: On
Damage: Cosmetic
Race Timer: None
Assists: Any
Upgrades: Yes
Tuning: Yes

Race Details:

Participants will recieve an invite from their pre-designated host around 8:00 PM EST.

No qualifying, lobbies are set by True Skill Rank for the first race, and by Average Series Points for the duration of the series.
Starts will be standing starts at the green. Restarts may occur if a driver lags out on the first lap, or 3 or more drivers wreck on the first lap. Number of restarts are limited to 3.

There will be a mandatory pit stop between laps 3 & 22 for a 25 lap race, and between laps 3 & 27 for a 30 lap race.

The overall finishing order is determined from Total Race Times from all lobbies.

Championship Points Table:

Note: We will be dropping each driver's worst finish at the end of the series. Final Points Standings will be based on each driver's best 7 finishes out of 8. This will allow each driver to miss 1 race in the series. Any driver that misses 3 races in a row is subject to be removed from the lineup

Bonus Points:

Earn up to 6 bonus points per race!

Participation - 4 Points
Win (In Your Lobby) - 1 Points
Fast Lap (In Your Lobby) - 1 Points

There are no bonus points allowed, for Wins and Fast Laps, in Round 1

Teams

There will be a Teams Championship, however drivers are not required to be on a team. Teams must have at least 2 drivers. Team points, for each race, will be based on the 2 highest scorers from each team.

Teams must run the same livery.

2nd - 500,000 Credits
3rd - 250,000 Credits
4th - 150,000 Credits
5th - 100,000 Credits
6th - 90,000 Credits
7th - 80,000 Credits
8th - 70,000 Credits
9th - 60,000 Credits
10th - 50,000 Credits

Team Championship Credits:
1st - 400,000 Credits
2nd - 300,000 Credits
3rd - 200,000 Credits
