Race 5 - Sebring Club

4 things you should know this week:

1. There is no mandatory pit stop this week.

2. I need someone to step-up and host lobby 3 because none of you assigned to that lobby have said you would host. So I really need one of you to volunteer.

3. If you are not listed in the starting lineup it is because you have missed the last 2 races. If you want to compete just post a message and I will put you in but please show up.

4. These lobbies could change and probably will so please check back and please be patient on race night.

I missed work today, not feeling very well at all. Even though I drive with one hand, I don't think even if I felt better I could blow my nose with one hand. On a very rare note, I will not be participating into tonight's fun.

Short track, few passing zones, worked to the front early and held on against offbro's charge. I locked up the brakes and nearly slid off track into the tires and jay cut the deficit by 2 seconds. He later caught a tire in the grass in the esses and gave me some breathing room but the finish was more in doubt than it looks.

Dire Remnant popped in at the last minute and he ran in our lobby. He wants to race next week as well Lothar so please make sure he gets put into the appropriate lobby for next week. Thanks.

GLR KaOt1c dropped out on lap 18.

Sorry I missed the race, Guys! Didn't get home from bible study until 30 minutes past the hour. I ate and then fell asleep shortly afterwards.

Man, that old food coma will get you every time Neo. LOL

This was my first race with all assists turned off. During practice I found that the old Focus was travelling noticably quicker with no TCS - a whole second !.
As such about an hour before the race, I was hastely practicing with it turned off.

I started on pole due to a severe lack of points and got through the first bend still in pole, after a few body brushes. was in front until about the 5 lap when I didn't brake in time on the third corner and let Viper take the lead. The next lap another braking error on the 5th corner let Jay pass me. From then on I had to keep my eye on my mirror as Boss was chasing me down. Managed to keep ahead of him and took the podium finish.

Great driving fellas and I really enjoyed this race and car.

That makes me feel bad , I would have told you sooner this car is much better with all assists off if I realized you were using them. Next time m8!
