FMC Website Bandwidth Message?!

Is anyone else getting a background that is showing bandwidth exceeded from Photobucket? If so, I was wondering if we could change the font colors on the top links that show FM Challenge, FMC Tournaments, so on and so forth. Because they are hidden by this background message. I have gotten this background message on my work computer, and all home computers. Just curious to know if we are working to resolve this and what not.

Yep...I have the same problem. That is why I haven't been on the site much because it drives me crazy.

I have talked to Sponge. It has something to do with the designs his sis put on the site. Its not me...I do not use photobucket. Hopefully it is resolved soon.

What about re-upload those things? The forum lookin is the most important thing for publicty, I dont believe we get promoted on Turn 10 on their blogs again if the side looks like this.

Looks like the forum software got updated, or something, now that I am back in town I will see what I can do about fixing it up some. Just need a few days to recoup and rest, then I'll see what I can do. Don't like the fact it is hard to see where the new posts are at from the main section.

Midnite, no software update I just selected a default theme to get rid of the photobucket bandwidth problem. If you do make changes I ask that you please not make it a dark background with a light colored font. That is incredibly hard for me to read.

I think it looks fine the way it though...LOL!!! I see we have one complaint though and I don't understand why.

Whilst I agree that it looks OK at the moment, we should make the website OURS !. Before everybody could tell it was the FMC site, now it is the Forumotion site.

The problem is, we cant use those graphics we had before unless we create a whole new website.

No worries, I don't like that any more than you do, I wasn't sure why the change. I might be able to swing getting us a place to setup all on our own so we no longer have bandwidth issues, let me see what I can come up with here.

Well, I am working on it. I have a basic start here, it is a subdomain of my daughters business site. Looks like this one here so far, but I will change it up if I can get the original graphics emailed to me @ mikecan666@roadrunner.com (hint, hint) I will work on the design aspect as soon as I get some more time to fiddle with it here. This is a link to what I have setup so far http://fmchallenge.wax-n-go.com/fmchallenge/index.php. Since it is a website/web host I manage we will NOT have bandwidth issues because I can load the graphics on the server its-self and not have to stream from PhotoBucket or any other picture hosting site.

Ok, so I have a basic build and a new web address for the Challenge forum if the other admins are interested. All you have to do is go to "fmchallenge.kicks-ass.org" http://fmchallenge.kicks-ass.org/ and you can see the basic setup I have, I have many more color options and as soon as I can decifer the templates I can change the text colors in the headers etc. Keep in mind it is a new work in progress. Let me know what you think of the URL, etc.
