Race 5 - Alps Stadplatz
Welcome To The Bernese Alps
Whether it’s the tight turns or the breathtaking scenery, mountain passes and fast cars seem to play
well together. In that spirit, the Bernese Alps distills the ultimate high-altitude driving experience into a
state-of-the-art road course the equal of the world’s greatest circuits. This track was inspired by the
mystique and challenge of the passes nestled among the highest mountain range in Europe, threading
the course along old mountain access roads, through tunnels cut into living rock, under craggy glacier
studded summits, past a luxury ski resort, and down to a quintessentially Swiss mountain town. The
course is offered in three challenging configurations. There’s the full Festival Circuit, the Stadplatz
variant, and the shorter Club Circuit. The primary characteristic of Bernese Alps is the overwhelming
sensation of speed. The tarmac is wide and forgiving, allowing you to stay on the track while
maintaining a fast clip; throughout much of the course, you’ll be at full throttle. Despite all the room
between the rumble strips, you’ll have to exercise exceptional control to hit the apexes perfectly.
Taken as a whole, the Alps course provides the awesome rush of velocity for any racer, but exceptional
challenges for those working on honing their Forza skills.

Re: Race 5 - Alps Stadplatz
Top 3 in the points seperated by 2 points. This championship is going to come down to the last lap of the last race I believe. If the first couple of races are any indication.

No doubt Bullet, definately a tight race for the Top 3 spots!! Maybe it will come down to a tiebreaker at the endF4H Bullet wrote:Top 3 in the points seperated by 2 points. Re: Race 5 - Alps Stadplatz
This should be a nice relaxing race. Fast paced track and tons of room for passing. Not to mention nice scenic views.

You forgot to mention break-neck speeds. If you sneeze at the wrong time here, it's hello spin, hello wall, hello damage.

Xbox actually froze on me, had to unplug the damn thing to turn it off. Just wasn't meant to be today I guess.

Here is lobby x
Not a bad effort since the first half of the race I was still battling a migraine aura which made everything a tad sketchy in the periphery. Couldn't consistently hang with popolac and strum got the best of me as well. I managed my PB so happy with that. Good lobby win Gashi.

Re: Race 5 - Alps Stadplatz
Great racing in lobby 2 last night. Really starting to like the Stadplatz circuit. I thought passing on this track would be fairly easy, and it is if someone makes a mistake. But not so easy otherwise. Just another area in racing where there is an opportunity to improve. I stayed close to Viper for several laps but just couldn't get around him until he pitted. Then popolac kept on creeping up behind me. I knew he pitted early so I tried to put some distance between us. But he got me when I pitted. I had a little contact with Boost early on when I attempted to make a pass. Neither of us wiped out and I'm not sure if it was my bad but wanted to apologize either way. Great close racing. I'm just happy as s**t that I actually got through a complete race without my wheel dying!!! It only took FIVE RACES!!! Yay!!
Congrats to Gashi and Trooper on their wins

Hey Gashi, was that my tune you were running?? Nice job dude!!
Re: Race 5 - Alps Stadplatz
Hate to hear that Mopar. I know there were a few cars that had contact early in the race. It was like a domino effect and I think I got bumped into you. Out of it all I think you got the worst end of the deal, sorry about that.F4H MOPAR001 wrote:Xbox actually froze on me, had to unplug the damn thing to turn it off. Re: Race 5 - Alps Stadplatz
Had a really good race with Bullet and Brizzo toward the end. Bullet and I were battling and Brizzo came out of the pits right in the middle of it. We were having a great 3-way battle when Brizzo and I bumped together and he got the worst so it. Sorry to Brizzo if it was my fault

Re: Race 5 - Alps Stadplatz
Yes it was Redneck. Didn't change a thing other than my racing line. The practice helped a ton, and then during the race, people just kind of got out of the way and I never looked back. I brushed the wall a couple of time Trooper, I was sure that 4 or 5 guys in lobby one were going to be faster than me. That was the reason for the Lol.

Re: Race 5 - Alps Stadplatz
i had a horrible race last night. im still not that familiar with this track. for some reason, everytime i hit the brakes, the car wanted to spin out on me. i either went in too slow or out too fast to the point id kiss the wall. by the time the race was over, you couldnt tell what paint job was on my car. but some how i still turned a halfway decent lap time, atleast i think it was decent, lol.
