24 Hours of LeMans
As most of you know Myself, FACEPALMER, AAR Pvt Donut, and GLR Shooter are running this event as we speak so I thought I would give you guys an updated standings after each stint.
After 8 of 8 3 hour stints
LMP1
Audi Sport Team VVV - 3316.82 miles - 391 laps
M&M Racing - 3017.12 miles - 355 laps
GT
Green Leaf Racing - 2940.50 miles - 346 laps
Mushroom Kingdom Racers - 2932.79 miles - 345 laps
2 Old 4 Forza - 2877.81 miles - 339 laps
This was an awesome race with only 200 feet separating the top two in GT after 15 hours. In the next stint FACEPALMER pulled out a 9 mile lead that only grew in the second to last stint that was driven by Insanity. FACEPALMER cruised home in the final stint playing the conservative role to keep a clean car and finish just behind the other two GT cars. WAY TO GO GUYS WE DID IT!!!

Re: 24 Hours of LeMans
was long and very stress full.. although my stints felt like they passed very quickly, there was some hairy moments, nothing too bad apart from my first stint, 24 mins in i get hit from behind, twice.. other wise it was good !

Results after 24 Hours of racing:
Audi Sport Team VVV - 3316.82 miles - 391 laps
M&M Racing - 3017.12 miles - 355 laps
Green Leaf Racing - 2940.50 miles - 346 laps

Congratulations to the VVV guys who dominated LMP1. If we hadn't had the lag out in stint 7 that would have been an incredibly close end.
Big congratulations to Green Leaf Racers in GT2. That was pretty much 24 hours of constant battling, not only for overall distance but physically on the track as well. Well done guys! It was also great to see so many new faces and I hope to see you guys again.
Thanks to all of my drivers in M&M racing who helped us to reach 355 laps, so I will be donating £355 to the Child's Play Charity.
I thank everyone who took part in this incredible race. I love doing these 24 hour races and it is such a shame that there was not more than 5 teams. I'll keep in touch with you guys and keep you updated for our plans for the next TORA 24 towards the end of the year...the Nurburgring 24 Wink
Thanks again!

Re: 24 Hours of LeMans
well done guys! I am pretty sure I could not have held in there for 2 three hour stints on Forza much less contributed to a class victory.
Re: 24 Hours of LeMans
Big Congrats fellas. That is a massive accomplishment.
If there is one in the winter, when the wife can't want to go out, I will offer my services if needed.
Re: 24 Hours of LeMans

Re: 24 Hours of LeMans
I believe they are planning a 24 hour event with the same cars around Newburgerking Norchsleife after the release of Forza 4. Not sure when exactly or if it will happen but I think they want to do it. By the way I recommend the 3am to 6am est stint for the LeMans race. LOL That was the worst of the 3 stints I did.

Re: 24 Hours of LeMans
Can't even imagine the number of times I'd be in the sand trap at those hours... well I guess it depends on how many laps I would traverse... 6 hours straight is just plain silly impossible for me.
Re: 24 Hours of LeMans
it wasnt too bad, started raceing at 11pm GMT and didnt finnish untill 5:30 Am..
Im all for the Nurburg event.. i will quite happily take the same stint if needs be ..

Re: 24 Hours of LeMans
The last stint was terrible, 645 to 945 am due to delays and with no sleep at all that entire night towards the sky turned purple and the trees looked like they were made of legos.
Thanks Shooter for running 6 hours straight, you really helped us all out there and kept us in the race even when you got taken out and heavily damaged. Thanks to Insanity for running 3 stints including the 2nd to last one right as you were waking up from a short nap, and thanks to Pvt Donut for putting down decent mileage with no practice or preparation.
In the end none of us could have done it without the others, great job guys!
