Race 4 - Silverstone GP

Race 4 - May 21 - 25 Laps

Track - Silverstone GP

Race is 25 laps. Manadatory pit stop between laps 3 and 22.

Car - 2008 #2 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup

No Upgrades allowed/Tuning is allowed

Qualifying:

Qualifying will begin at PROMPLY at 10:00am EST/2:00pm GMT - so please be online and ready to go because we will start with out you.

Qualifying will be 5 laps, laps 1-4 are flying laps and lap 5 is a cool down lap so that the host can get everyones fastest lap.

Race:

Please be patient while we are sorting qualifying times. Please remain online as this will expedite the process once everything is sorted. Once we are done you will receive an invite from your race lobby host.

To set the grid we will run a 1 lap race and everyone will finish in the correct starting order. There is a manadatory pit stop between laps 3 and 22, which means you cannot pit before the start of lap 3 and you must pit by the end of lap 22. Failure to do so will result in a points penalty.

At the end of the race the lobby host will post the results along with the total race time of the race winner and the competitor who ran the fastest lap.

I will miss this race, probably sitting on a net in a C-135 on my way home from here (New Orleans). All I want to do is get back to racing!!!!!

Was a great race for me, but then I log out on lap ( Lost Internet )# 22 of 25 , I don't know if that hurt my points or I get credit for?

Its not a total loss... you finished more than half the race so you get last place in the lobby (8th overall)

We had a big lag around that time as well so it is likely an XBL lag.

Fun race in lobby 2... fun because I didn't drive like total shite this week and had some guys running similar times to run with.

Lewingbao, Jax and I gapped the field in the first few laps. I hung to the back of Jax as he chased Lewing. Wasn't sure I could stay with them as they had significantly better qualifying than me. After a half dozen laps of that Lewing got a little sideways in turn 1 and they tapped which got me past Lewing and then Jax. Unfortunately Lewing lost too much time and Jax and I were running fairly consistent low to mid 52's to stretch our lead. I got messed up in Chapel and Jax got back in front. We went into the pits around lap 14 and we came out running 1 and 2. Jax made a small mistake and I got around him again and then hung on for the victory. I don't think we were ever separated by more than 1.5 seconds for the entire race and most of the time within 100+ feet so it was a tense but good race.

So bummed i missed this.....late to bed........overslept.

Yeah I'm totally sorry about bumping into you Jax. By the time I recovered I ended up in 6th place. Some how I was able to get back to 3rd. Anyways, great racing by everyone and that track is a lot of fun. I would have to say Silverstone GP is my new favorite track. Very fast and very technical at the same time. Great racing lobby 2!

I was in 3rd a long way back from 2nd and a long way ahead of 4th, then somewhere around the halfway point fatigue kicked in and I was losing a good second or two per lap and lost it, almost lost a few more at the end too. The time slot sure does make the racing interesting. Good racing though guys, see you next week.

Would like to be back in the series, i have a working disc now, i have borrowed one from a mate untill Mikem's spare disc arrives
