I made it to the 54's (54.8xx), Box and Bullet will probably be in the low 54's to high 53's...

No practice equal terrible start. Lol
It was a really fun race tonight, from battling for the 1st 10 laps, then trying to catch Mopar at the end.
I really enjoyed this series, just wish I could have beat box once without it being due to him lagging out.
At least I had the fastest lap a few races. Razz

looks like you guys had some great racing tonight, sadly i could not be there, and truth be told i am burnt out on this game. I feel really bad for not making this race (and the focus cup also)but i have lost the desire to play the game and most likley won't be running in any tournaments until forza 4.
I would like to send a special thanks to GLR1Fastredneck , because without him I would never have been into racing games as much as i have been.
Don't take this the wrong way, I am not leaving GLR i am just taking a break for now.good luck fellas!!!

Your welcome puck.....it's been more than just a game...its a lifestyle!! I really hope FM4 is better than FM3. FM2 was the best and FM3 has really been a let down for alot of us. I understand where you are coming from puck...I have been there too, a few months back I got burnt out, but I came back eventually. Take a break man....we all need one every now and then. You know where home is, and you will always be a part of this family. See you soon!

Lobby 3/4 results....

I will need to watch the replay to get EZT Neo 45 & GLR Nelly's times. I was saving the replay when they finished and did not get their results on film.

GLR DARK NINJA dropped on lap 13.

Yeah, my bad there, I asked and Neo and Nelly both gave me their time last night and I failed to write it down. I have assigned the appropriate points for them even though I do not have their times at this point. Sorry guys, I will get your times.

Really bummed I missed this last race !!!. Long story short, it was St. Patricks day here in Chicago ( it's big here !! ), which ment loads of day drinking.
Started at 10:30am and got home at 5:00pm. Fell asleep and woke up at 11:30pm What a Face What a Face . I think I'm getting too old for all this tom foolery !!

Really enjoyed the series though !!.

Post  GLR Viper58 Sun Mar 13, 2011 3:43 pm

It was a good race generally for me. Maga clearly had more pace than me so I let him run on the second lap after we had cleared the rest of the field. I tried my damnedest to hang with him and I was bouncing between 200 and 400 ft back for the first 14 laps with good pace and rhythm. I was trying to keep the pressure up hoping Maga would make an error... he made a few small ones but never enough. Finishing lap 14 I was distracted by a car repeatedly banging into the pit barrier (turned out to be Ninja who had lagged out). While trying to attend to that as host I finally got my head back on the race on after the esses and realized Maga was now 1600 ft ahead. No major mistakes just lost concentration. Lost my mojo and Maga walked home after that. The rhythm felt good while it lasted. Overall a surprisingly good series in this car... I thought it would be more of a handful, but it really grew on me.

Round 8 - Nurburgring GP Empty finals

Post  GLR mar B ond Mon Mar 14, 2011 2:39 pm

after the start, trying to avoid a big crash i cut the first corner a bit, ran wide and touched Mopar resulting in me spinning and playing catch-up. made a pretty good mess of that corner. anyway, it was yet again a nice tournament with a nicely balanced car (but not all tracks where favourits but that's personal). next up, trying too learn the clutch while down-shifting.
Thankzzz Red,Lothar,Midnite and all others for this great "challenge".

Good racing in lobby one for the first 10 laps or so with a lot of passing. Most of the race Mopar was in 1st and I was in 4th thinking there goes 3rd place in the championship. Box finally took over 1st somehow which setup a tie breaker for 3rd overall between me and Mopar. In the end I only got 3rd overall by 0.4 sec thanks to Diablo's overall time in lobby 2. man that was close.

No. As host it was my job to report the times though as I have repeated often it is always incumbent on the individual drivers to get their times as a back-up / failsafe. My picture was completely unreadable. Midnite's was good but I thought he said he only was missing one time and I wrote that one down but didn't put a name to it thinking it was whoever finished last (in recollection though I think it was your voice that I heard 50:33.407 I think - whatever I wrote in the message above). Unfortunately there where two missing times so I need to go back and pull the times off the replay for you and Nelly.

It's okay, Viper/Midnite. I don't think there's going to be an impact as to what the accurate times were. I do believe you have Nelly and I in the correct order. Wink
