The cars are not very even in my opinium, I tested a few cars today and thats the quick tuning results, which means if I tune them directly I can get some more tenths down, but not much:

BMW coupe: 2.06.0 on sebring, didnt tried laguna
mustang 10: 2.05.0 on sebring, 1.26.0 laguna
dodge challenger 2.04.1 sebring, 1.26.4 laguna

and then, my last car I tried the mustang 05, 2.04.2 sebring and 1.25.7 on laguna in practice

Forgive me for saying so, but those times look very even to me b0x. Mustang faster on Laguna than the Challenger, but, slower than the Challenger on Sebring. This is exactly the desired results. Why? Because each car naturally favors either handling tracks, or speed tracks, and since there are an equal number of both kinds of tracks, no one car is likely to dominate at every track.

All the cars are full weight reduction, full racing slick, full handling packages, but because of their specific design and weight, will still favor being a handling car or a speed car.

Please understand, some cars that have the best of both worlds are going to have better overall performance, and those cars have to be carefully adjusted. The series provides for these adjustments after each season. If we see a car that obviously can dominate at all tracks with a superior driver, then we will tone it down some for next season, and over time the cars will be closer and closer together, with your help.

Something YOU need to realize is that most of us are not as fast as you are, which means we can not drive the cars to their full theoretical potential. This means that the cars only have to be so close performance wise, and anything closer won't really matter in our less capable hands.

Until your participation there has been no need to worry too much about which cars might be slightly better overall, because no one can drive them at that higher more revealing limit. Case in point, I have won with 5 different cars.

I have long since known of both the Mustangs, and their higher potential, but wasn't too worried anyone could exploit them until now. Many people have driven the 05 Mustang for example, with mixed results and no Division win to date. The Shelby Mustang is right up there too. Both cars in a fast drivers hands like yours will be extra hard to beat. Average drivers on the other hand won't be any faster than any other car they might pick generally speaking is my point.

There are other cars that will be scary in the right hands, such as the Jaguar, Ferrari, Viper, and Vette. Anyway, didn't want to butt in too much, but just wanted to let everyone know why the cars are the way they are, and, that b0x is not normal. lol Razz
