Split out of my own lobby then lost internet during lap 8... bummer.

This car blows on this track or Turn 10 really sucks one or the other. Cuz I had a really good tune Tuesday night, ran really solid times. Then I went on multiplayer and the car was all over the place. I was practicing with mehave. He mentioned that he was using a Sunset tune. So I switched to my Sunset tune in multiplayer and sure enough handled just fine, and set a personal best. So on race day I get into a practice lobby, and the Sunset tune was all over the place. So I switched to the tune I came up with on Tuesday - it handled like a dream - and I was keeping up with Lobby 1 guys no problem. I got in the race, loaded that tune, and low and behold it was all over the place. What gives?! I'm getting so frustrated with this car, and Turn 10. Its such a crock of $#!&.

Anywho, enough of my ranting, good race Hillbilly and the rest of the guys, didn't have any restarts. Well except for not having a couple settings correct.

Well, due to a lot of drop outs I was put with some real fast drivers, which is fine I have no problem with that, so not a sterling result for me. Cest La Vie, I geuss, but I seem to have plataued (?), as far as my driving is concerned. I ran a PB for me of 1:35:088, ( stop that sniggering ). So how can I get those extra 3.5 - 4.0 seconds ?. I tinkered with the car and got my times down, but no tuning will get me that much extra time, will it ?.

I am not whinning, just at a loss on how to improve. Any suggestions ? and just giving up is not an option. Maybe some gohsts of driving skills ?.

I had a bad connection last night, and some people couldn't join with me, so Sponge opened a new lobby and I was unable to get into his lobby. So I asked them to give me a couple minutes to reboot my modem and router, and when I came back on they had already put profeloco in lobby 2 before I signed back on. I could care less whose lobby I was in, it wouldn't have mattered the race would have been shitty regardless. Turn 10 blows!!

I think they had issues with Dope hosting and had to move things around.

Asteroid, I'm not the fastest, by far. But, any time I'm on I'd be happy to run with you and try to help.

Can't wait for Gran Turismo 5.

Yes Lothar we had to make some adjustments. 3 drivers couldn't get into Dope's room. We tried Dope up in 1 without success and then finally got him in my lobby after he rebooted. I had a full room so had to send Loco to the big leagues. I decided it was too much of a problem to try to get Dope back up in 2 after he rebooted because it was already 20 after by that point. Of course, I wind up being the only one to lag out after all that... and then I lost internet for a while. Sponge was the Host of room 2 so hopefully he will get back with some results. Since I was forced offline I couldn't gather the results of the evening.

You don't sound like you're complaining to me. Sounds like you want to go faster! That's a good thing!

guys how am i still in lobby 1 i,ve come last by quite a bit in the last few races. Its really annoying see the guys in front getting away,Would it be possible to be put in a lobby with asteroid or shooter lol

I have not updated the lobbies yet. I am working on it right now but you keep ending up there because guys who should be in lobby 1 have not been showing up which moves you up.
