IROC Challenge Race 1 Details

Basic Lobby Settings:

Starting Lineup: Based on 4 Lap Qualifyer
Laps: 50
Collisions: On
Damage: Cosmetic
Race Timer: None
Assists: Any
Force Stock Upgrades & Tuning: No

Designated Qualifying Hosts / Qualifying Lobby Placement:

Hosts: Please be ready for a Party Invite from GLR1FastRedneck approximately 15 minutes prior to race time.

Participants: Will recieve an invite from their pre-designated qualifying host at approximately 8:00 PM CDT.

There will be a 4 lap qualifyer to determine starting positions, 1 up to speed lap and 3 flying laps. Lobbies will then be sorted based on qualifying times. Please be patient as we sort qualifying times.

Pre-Race Instructions:

1-Place the IROC Challenge number plate on the left and right side of your car. Then put your FMC number in it

2-Be online prior to starting time on raceday, series will start promptly at the top of the hour.(8:00 P.M. CDT U.S.)

3-Once qualifying is over, it will take several minutes to sort times and set lobbies. Please wait patiently for your Host to invite you

Race Information:

The races will begin with a 1 lap sorting lap to get all cars in the proper order. The race start will be a 80 MPH rolling start at the beginning of Lap 2. Lineup will be 2 by 2(Nascar Style) and the start will be called out by the Pole Sitter(3,2,1,Go). Restarts may occur if at least 1 driver lags out on the first lap, or 3 or more drivers wreck on the first lap. Number of restarts are limited to 3.

There will be a mandatory pit stop between laps 3 & 32 in a 35 lap race, and between laps 3 and 47 for a 50 lap race.

Just a tip: The setup on the store will be locked, to find out what the built is, load the default tune after u have loaded the official built and you can see in the upgrades menu, which parts u need (those u own). Maybe u got to buy a new car if u alrady bought upgrades.

So far my fastest time is with the default tune. Lol. How terrible is that. Whenever I change something, I lose 4 tenths on my pb. I really suck.

Side note, I will have to post later whether or not I can race Saturday night, having a wake for my grandfather. Not a great way to start a season, but what can you do. Lol.

Dude, sorry to hear about your grandfather. We understand if you cannot make it.

I have ran only about 10 laps so far...hope someone has a good tune!!???

Wow, such a good race. I was totally shocked, nothing major happened in Lobby 2, very clean fun race. Although I'm sure each of us left our paint on the wall of infamous turn #4. Nothing like practice though. This is going to be a fun, fun series!!

Wow! My first ever Room 1 race!! It was a pretty good one, too!! Until I lagged out, that is. Sad

Was very happy with my qualifying time, thanks to TomCat--the old (figuratively speaking, of course Wink

) oval guru!! If it weren't for him, I don't believe I would have qualified as well as I did with this car. It felt as if I was in the old Dodge Charger SRT8 from FM2!! T4 was proving to be such a pain!!

Cannot wait to see how Motegi works out to be!!

sorry i missed the race. ever since thursday my power and phonelines have been going off and on. i think it might be from the house there building a couple lots down. ever since the started doing the electrical work in there, transformers have been popping like firecrackers in the neighborhood. i think the issue has been resolved cause there were electricians there all weekend and no outages since sunday. so i should be ok next weekend.
