Porsche Multiclass Series Details
PORSCHE GT1/GT2 MULTICLASS SERIES
Details
This series will feature a team championship. Two or Four people to a team with an equal number of GT1 and GT2 drivers in each team.
We have three Seperate Championships in this series.
The GT1 Drivers Championship.
The GT2 Drivers Cgampionship.
And the Team Championship.
(only the two highest scoring drivers in each team score points towards the team championship.)
The Cars:
GT1 Will be the 1998 #26 Porsche AG 911 GT1-98
GT2 Will be the 2011 #45 Flying Lizard 911 GT3-RSR (GT2)
Both cars will stock build and stock tuning.
Races will take place on full length Grand Prix Circuits and should last between 30 and 40 minutes.
Tracks are as follows:
June _6th Catalunya GP ________21 Laps. Pit between laps 3 and 18
June 13th Hockenheimring GP ___22 Laps. Pit between laps 3 and 19
June 20th Indianapolis GP ______27 Laps. Pit between laps 3 and 24
June 27th Infineon Long(Sunrise)_25 Laps. Pit between laps 3 and 22
July 18th Nurburgring GP Full ____20 Laps. Pit between laps 3 and 17
July 25th Road Atlanta Full ______28 Laps. Pit between laps 3 and 25
July _1st Silverstone GP ________21 Laps. Pit between laps 3 and 18
Aug _8th Mugello Full __________21 Laps. Pit between laps 3 and 18
Before each race there will be a qualifying session to determine which lobby you will be racing in. (Lobby invites will be sent out just before 9.00pm EST / 2.00am BST) To guarentee that you receive your invite please send a friend request to FMCWedRacing.
There will be seperate qualifying lobbies for GT1 and GT2 cars.
The top 6 drivers in both classes will then race together in lobby 1 and the slower drivers will be racing together in lobby 2.
(If we have more than 24 sign-ups then a third lobby will be created as I want to limit lobbies to between 8 and 12 cars only)
Grid order will be set to PI points so GT1 cars roll off first then after 5 seconds the GT2 cars start.
Results will be decided by overall race time.
GT1 and GT2 results will be scored indivually.
First place in each class get's 100 points, second 99, third 98 etc.
4 Bonus points will be allocated for particapting in each race so showing up for every race will net you an extra 32 points.
Only your best 7 race results will count towards the final leaderboard with your worst result being dropped.
Damage for this series will be set to cosmetic and collisions are set to full.

Prizes will be same for both GT1 and GT2 winners and runner up's
1st Prize 2,000,000 in game credits
2nd Prize 1,000,000
3rd Prize 500,000
4th Prize 250,000
5th Prize 125,000
6th Prize 75,000
Team Prizes (shared between team members)
1st Prize 2,000,000 in game credits
2nd Prize 1,000,000
3rd Prize 500,000

Hiya buddy yeah this will be the next wednesday night series.
Once the Porsche DLC Pack comes out were gonna try out a load of the race class porsches and pick the best one's from R2 and R3.
I've already got Details, tracklist and sign-up threads ready.

After chatting with Diablo I've decided this series will be what it was originally going to be a GT1/GT2 Multiclass series.
I've had to ditch the GT3 cars altogether because they are so close to the GT3-RSR (GT2) and there wouldn't be much of a gap between them.

So the car is stock upgrades and stock tuning? So basically just running the car the way it comes after purchasing it from the store?
