Not to mention the bleeping sticky grass that if the car in front of you touches it, CRASH! Then there's the pit entrance if you try to cut the cones you will get stuck in the sticky pavement. Also the pits can be flaky here sometimes but we're just doing a drive through so it should be ok. If anything weird happens during your pit stop, tough luck.

I can host if need be. I am back from my one week hiatus. I've yet to run any laps though... looks like Shooter is enjoying the track

Great race in lobby 2, great hosting Nelly!

Lobby 1 results: Shooter qualified in lobby 1 but had a conflict with Diablo so we swapped Shooter and Axe so we could have 8 per lobby

When you swapp drivers around do to conflict do you change the results around too?
So Shooter time and fast lap are put into A lobby and Axe time are put into B lobby to balance out the point for winning a lobby and fast lap in that lobby.
So in B lobby Nelly get the point for winning and onabreak gets a point for fast lap ?

Re: Round 5 - Indianapolis GP
Yes break... this is a total race time event so the finishing results are based on your total time no matter what lobby you race in... (that is not only for Shooter and Axe but everyone). And yes each lobby also has bonus points for fast laps and lobby win (but those don't get swapped around - Shooter had fast lap for lobby B)
Re: Round 5 - Indianapolis GP
Sorry break but I agree with Viper on this.
On the plus side Shooter would have easily finished 3rd overall if he hadn't gone in the pits twice

Re: Round 5 - Indianapolis GP
i went into the pits twice to penalize myself for having to move into lobby 2, i was going to pit twice where ever i was in the field, sorry again for the lobby 2 runners but i had connections issues with lobby one and had to come to lobby 2

I find this kinda hard to swallow, if Shooter had been in lobby 1 where he qualified then he would not get points for lobby win and fast lap in lobby 2, that would have went to someone in lobby 2 who qualified for lobby 2. Kinda of a give me for him being put into the slower lobby he was a shoe in for win and fast lap, screws lobby 2 outta the bonus points they should have gotten for whoever had fast lap and who would have won lobby 2. Seems like a cheat there.

Classy move pitting twice shooter. I personally have no problem with the swap in lobbies, connection issues are no ones fault,if it cost me a couple of points i don't think it'll have much affect on my real life

Re: Round 5 - Indianapolis GP
Let me just say that I may have overstepped my bounds <g>. I am only relaying how we have always done it for bonus points. There are many examples over the years of faster drivers winding up in slower lobbies and reaping those bonus point awards that would have been more difficult in the faster lobbies. In the end you still have to put the time down and win the lobby. But, I am not one of this series organizers and don't wish to speak out of school. Personally I was just happy to finish this race without hitting anyone or driving off the track or even being hit! It was a good day finishing with my paint intact...
Re: Round 5 - Indianapolis GP
It will be up to Lothar since it's his series and he does the points. My view is he gets the bonus no matter what lobby he's in because thats the way we've always done it. Maybe in future events we can address those conditions in the rules. It's not far to Axe to be sent up to lobby 1 either.
It is also possible for a lobby 1 driver to have a bad qual and end up in 2 and then get all the bonus points, win, etc. Is that a cheat to the lobby 2 guys?

Re: Round 5 - Indianapolis GP
again let me express my appologies for moving into lobby 2 when i qualified for 1, connection issues was what stopped me from running in lobby 1 and i could connect to lobby two so we saw straight and moved axe into lobby one... i pitted twice to penalty myself for being in lobby two, but then again, should i have done that, i dont know...
I have had a bad quali in a previous event and ended up in lobby 3, i lapped most drivers and won and had fastest lap by a big margain, nobody kicked up a fuss at that point.... so should i loose the extra points because of connection issues ? thats down to RO's and series orginiser but i strongly dissagree if i were to loose them as this is how it is and how the series is run...
Again i stress the fact that i am sorry for running in lobby two but had no choice and i certainly wasnt going to miss the race !
