Race 4 - Motegi East
Welcome To Motegi East
Twin Ring Motegi opened its doors in 1997, in the town of Motegi in eastern Tochigi
prefecture. Set on hills linked to the Hakko mountain chain, Twin Ring Motegi is
surrounded by forest, with the pure water of the Nakagawa river, originating on Mt. Nasu,
flowing by.
“Twin Ring” was coined by joining the English word “twin” and the German word “ring.”
The name indicates the two racing courses: Super Speedway, an American-style oval
course, and Road Course, a European layout. “Twin” is also intended to imply the merging
of two objects, the harmony of man with nature, the meeting and joining of people.
Although “ring” in German means a ring or a circle, that meaning was broadened to
include a group of people, a circle of excitement and affinity. We want to make that
circle of affinity and excitement even larger. That’s why we call this place “Twin Ring
Motegi.”

Motegi East
I would still be in lobby 1 if it wasn't for the darn lag out bomb last week, when are they going to fix this. Love this track can't wait to race :-)

Lobby 2 results............
Great racing all up and down the track. See you all next week.

Re: Race 4 - Motegi East
I don't remember the last time I drove that hard. I was on it tonight but the first lap ruined me. Couldn't get by Trooper in the beginning of the race and through pitstops I was about 200 feet behind. I focused up and run constant 33.9's to 34 flats til I was on Trooper's bumper. Then I couldn't get the job done. I got by, and then he slipstreamed me on the front stretch and I never got close enough to make another pass. Great racing, apart from going Lothar on my ass those first 2 laps
In other news, I'm bummed, I ran a 33.6xx on the last lap, and it was dirty from me going off the lap before

Re: Race 4 - Motegi East
Shoot... sorry I missed it. I was busy negotiating a car purchase for my eldest daughter and it went over a bit before they realized I wanted to get my price 2008 VW Jetta Wolfsburg Edition... fun little turbo to drive. Was able to break it loose even before I found the traction control and turned it off .
Re: Race 4 - Motegi East
Fourth place in Lobby 2 is deceiving. Before the half way point of Lap 1, I was in last place. Instead of just accepting that as my position for the night, I determined I was not going to finish there. After some bumps and inadvertent "pushes" with Midnite and Speedway, managed to get up to sixth. Eventually, I was one of the last--if not the last--driver to pit. This put me in second place behind Fastlane. All the while leading up to the time I pitted, my times were mid- to low-35s. My fastest was a 35.2-something, though it was uncertified. To make this long story short, I was fourth after my turn running through the pits (nearly had a catastrophe, though, getting into the pits...nearly hit the pit wall!).
Though I apologized during the race, sorry for the bumps, Guys...you know who you are!

Re: Race 4 - Motegi East
Your "bump" on me just propelled me into a passing situation, no big deal. Besides what's a little bumping between friends, it happens all the time, thats racing. If I only could have had 1-2 more laps I might have gotten 4th from you once I got away from Evil Wrong and Speedway, Oh well, next time! LOL

Its amazing how puck and i can run lap after lap bumper to bumper and never make contact yet one careless driver who seems to have no respect for his fellow drivers has taken three different people out in all three races. After watching the replay the hit on me looks intentional which means your either a real bad driver or just plain dirty.Replay on my storefront.
