I was running 1:50's

In the laps I ran, I was in the 49's for good laps. Mind you, I had no TCS, so consistency was a bit off.

I think 48's are possible, but I may miss tonight, we'll see.

The stock tune is so bad with a wheel it's not even funny. Lucky to get a 1:50

I've hit a 1:50.xxx one time out of the 30 or 40 practice laps I have put in. I'm going to guess I'll be averaging mid 51s come race-time.

worst performance for me ever in forza... any edition. 2 seconds off my best. could not keep the car on the track. a total joke for me. Not a fan right now of the radical or my driving ability.

Keep your chin up viper, we all have our bad days... your driving ability is still rock solid.. this car is quite tail-happy and likes to change direction quickly, hence maybe some over correcting from time to time ?.... dont get yourself down about it, its one race, dont forget, theres still a lot more to come yet !

Stay strong and shrug it off

This car takes a lot practice to drive it the way it wants to be driven. I've had to completely change my driving style to keep this car from spinning. Finnaly started to get use to it during the race. Main thing is to slow down before the corner entry and don't brake if the wheel is turned. Watching Diablo's leaderboard replay helped. Having TCS also helped getting out of the corners. I have no idea how Brizzo was doing 48s, it took everything I had to get a 49.7 out of it. Hang in there and if you want to practice let me know.

Well chuffed with that result a 6th place in lobby 1 and 1st and 5th in lobby 2

Don't feel bad Viper, It's the reason i had to drop this series. It might be a fun car with a controller but with a wheel it's a nightmare!!! I felt i would have been a hazard to everyone in my lobby and reading your post (and mikem's) I'm glad i chose to sit this one out.

Good racing in lobby 2. Sorry Viper, but you have the skill.....you'll be back. Constant battle between Onabreak, Neo and I.

I actually quite like this car and I think it may improve my driving. Having to down shift and break before you even attempt to turn, was making me brake deeper into the turn. I found that I was alot smoother and quicker exiting the turns. Brizzo's 48's are obviously still way out of my league, but I am enjoying this.....so far.

Hey Asteroid that was an awesome race dude was struggling a bit with that hairpin and my entry into the pit lost me 4th place but yeah great fun looking forward to the next one.

Thanks Asteroid! Appreciate the shout out for my lobby one run. I was offered the chance to drop back to lobby two for the race but seeing as I did not qualify with close to my fastest certified lap on the track I decided to stay in lobby 1. I told Lothar I would rather just stay there and wreck the lobby one guys (although that did not happen, I failed to cause any major damage, darn it! LOL) I'm kinda glad I did, I started out in 12th out of 13 places and managed to move up to 9th by the end of the race and still did not put down a certified lap faster than practice. I'll probably be back in lobby two next week when all the faster guys show up.

We got a good team! I appreciate the moral support I was pretty bummed last night but I will be back... I lived through my Lotus 2-eleven travails last year... I will make it thru this car as well. I started third, locked up in turn 1 and went into the sand box, came out second to last, caught the pack and locked up again in turn 2, this time deep into the sandbox and now well last, was off the track probably 3 more times in teh first three laps. Decided to go into the pits and try to regroup at the end of lap 3. Screwed up the pit chicane, spun, got into the sand and finally came to rest facing down the access road in the wrong direction, got myself turned around and at the end of that was 15 seconds behind the second to last place car. It didn't get any better. Never got back into the 51's or even into the 52's that I can remember. tried to keep my eyes on the car in front and make up ground but each time I caught him I would screw up again and either lock the brakes or spin the rear and have to start all over. I think as mikem was alluding to, my early trouble made me anxious to catch back up and the lack of patience REALLY worked against me... I can't remember the last time I locked up that often and slid off the track. Hope next week is better. Practice with people is going to be important with me in this car because when relaxed hot lapping it was not nearly as much trouble as I had in traffic. I'm just thankful I didn't ruin others races by hitting them as I lurched about last night.
