FMC Championship Finale - Race Details

The FMC Championship will consist of 3 races, running on 3 consectutive Saturdays starting September 24th, October 1st and October 8th at 9pm EST. The Championship will feature 3 different cars (fully tunable) on 3 different tracks. Your best 2 results of these 3 races will be directly added into your accrued points over the year. The top 3 overall finishers will have the priveledge and honor of proudly displaying the number of their corrosponding finish (ie 1, 2 or 3) for their driver number during the 2012 season on the FM Challenge web site.

Race 1:

Where: Sunset Club 20 laps + mandatory pit stop between 2 & 18

When: Saturday Sept. 24th @ 9pm EST

Car: 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 PI=B 500

Build (If it's not listed you cannot do it):

Sport Manifold	Race Brakes	Any Lexani Rim
Race Carb	Race Springs and Dampers	235/30R21 Front Tire
Race Ignition	Race Front and Rear Anti-roll bars	265/25R21 Rear Tire

Race 2:

Where: Mugello 20 laps + mandatory pit stop between 2 & 18

When: Saturday October 1st @ 9pm EST

Car: #45 Flying Lizard Porsche GT3-RSR PI-R3 782

Build (If it's not listed you cannot do it): Restrictor removed, all parts to RACE, any rim that keeps PI @ 782 (ie. Buddy Club P1 or equivilent)


Race 3:

When: Saturday October 8th @ 9pm EST

Where: Camino Viejo de Montserrat Full 20 laps + mandatory pit stop between 2 & 18

Car: SEAT Leon Supercup PI=S 697

Build (If it is not listed you cannot do it): All parts upgraded to race and any Rim that will keep the PI @ 697 (ie. Buddy Club P1 or equivilent).

Sad to say I will not be able to participate in this event. My son's high school marching band has competitions on Saturday evenings through October. Go Eagles!!

You'll be missed EZT Neo 45, however supporting the family always comes first! See you in FM4.

I fell asleep with my controller in my hands last night, how did the race go? Really sorry I missed the race guys, it's been a long week and I was exhausted. I woke up at 3am still pressing the accelerator..lol. See you all in the next event.

I had a fun race with Midnite for the first couple of laps until I went off in the sand trap. See ya next week!

We are in a decision making process on scoring right now. Yes you will be compensated unless we forego the first race from scoring seeing as some who wanted to race apparently did not get the word we were under way already. Please stay tuned and sorry for any inconvienence, but rest assured you will not be penalized by not being able to connect, apparantley MS is having issues with the lobbies both public and private at the moment. Probably why I get an update everytime I put my Forza disk in, .

Is this week's race on Mugello Full or Mugello Club?

That would be at Mugello Full.

Official Announcement!! Seeing the predicument we had with the first race and some people missing it and all we have come to the decision that the Finale will count your best 2 out of 3 races, so the ones that missed the first race will be no worse off by it and to be fair to the ones who were.

We look forward to all of you being there on this coming Saturday!!

I did everything I could to not win that race last night!! LOL!! Midnite, who was in first for most of the race, would go off track which allowed me to get close and pass two or three times! This first time it occurred, I passed him and then promptly went off track giving first right back to him!! Then, if we weren't going off track, I was accidentally bumping his car (I got a little too close!). Finally, I went off to give Asteroid second. One more excursion would have given Unca third.

Ugh!! I need to work on racing R2 cars!! I still love that car!

Yeah, EZT Neo 45, we had some fun last night. I Love the R cars!! We had a few little bumps and that one on lap 18-19 I thought we would both be taken out, fortunately we held on to it. Glad to have gotten one last run in with the Porsche seeing as we will be without them in FM4. I do look forward to 16 person lobbies, we all could have ran in one room last night if not for the 8 person limit, and Blur is doing 20 person lobbies fairly well. Sorry for your connection issue EZT ReDeYe2807, hopefully MS will have that issue fixed in 4. It would be nice to see the return of the weekly tournaments, I will keep my fingers crossed. Just 9 more days until the release!!!

Sorry I missed race 2 guys. I was called to work at 9 am yesterday morning, and then I was sent to South Mississippi to fix a helicopter. I was hoping to make it back home in time for the race, but unfortunately did not get home till after 10 pm. On the bright side I did get 13 hours of overtime...cha ching!! Hopefully I can make the final race!?

Yea....great racing in lobby 2. With the restrictors off, it made the car a bit of a handful and in the first few laps i think we all lost it on at least 1 occasion. Then we all settled down and midnite completed a smooth steady race. Passed Neo on the last lap after he lost it a couple of times coming home....sorry M8!.

These Porsches will be sorely missed in FM4. They are great cars and hopefully......we may see them return in a future DLC...who knows?.

Great racing fellas

I hate to do this but I, unfortunately will not make the last race. My daughter went to the hospital today for a steroid injection to aid the babies lungs to develope and they are not letting her out of the hospital. I will be flying out either tomorrow or Friday to go and take care of my 3 year old grand-daughter. I return in a week but this means I will not be able to race Saturday, then I will be gone again from the 28th of October until the 19th of November. It sucks I will miss the race and a lot of tie in FM4 when it releases, my copy will be here waiting for me but I won't be here to use it. You guys hold the fort for me and I will talk to you all soon.

Sorry to hear about your daughter's baby. My wife and I will be praying for her.

Fellas, it was my wedding anniversary yesterday and the wife has arranged a dinner tonight with her family. Obviously, this means I will not be able to make this race. Not sure if Face can take over hosting, but I am sorry. Even though I am not in contention, I really wanted to do this.
