I am going to post this as calmly as I can although I am currently furious. I was pulling away from the field for the overall win when a caution was called. I had thought all the leaders caught up and called the pits were open and only me and Ramoza pitted causing mass confusion. After this I decided to make things fair and pit when all the leaders pitted and when exiting me car was damaged to the point I could not continue thus costing me the win again on one track I can win at. This whole pit thing needs to be addressed again because if you want to pit on caution periods and cars get damaged for no reason you will only get people frustrated with it. I don't know what else to say other then I have once again been screwed buy something stupid while leading at Motegi.

Confusion sucks, and so do Pit Exit Lag Spikes!! I know how you feel Insanity. The same crap has happened to me before. Cars get bottled up and overlapping each other coming out of the pits and sure enough...whammmm!! It seems very unfair because there is nothing you can do to prevent it. If it makes you feel any better...you did end up with the fast lap! Cool

I'm agree with insanity about the confusion of the caution pit stop... because when there's a caution, the pits are open it doesn't mind if the cars are not in their position in yellow falg the cars can pit even if they are alone , they can pit, the leader don't need to wait to the other cars for pit, the formation is when all cars are ready to go, it means that the had just pit or not... if you try to do that there's not going to be any confusion Smile

Actually, following Nascar rules, when a caution is called the pits are closed. Cars can pit when the pits are closed, however any car that pits during this closed period is assessed a penalty. The penalty is starting at the tail end of the pack on the next restart. The leader has to take control of the field when a caution comes out. At the caution the leader is supposed to slow down to 90 mph and let the field (minus the penalized cars) catch up. When all cars (minus the penalized cars) are caught up to the leader, the pits are then open. After pit stops everyone then lines back up, with the penalty cars lined up in the back, and the restart happens.

What happened in our race was I got spun out by Box, then got t boned by Mikem. A caution was called, and Mike and Redneck...heavily damaged...went ahead and pitted with the pits closed, fully accepting our penalties. This caused some confusion with the leaders as the rest of the field was not all caught up to the leaders before the leaders started pitting. So then mass confusion set in...and double pitstops were made by some. Then a lag spike on pit exit damaged more cars, including the leader. Tough deal...but all I can say is sh*t happens, and all we can do is try and do better next time!

Sorry guys that I missed this one! I didn't see the sign ups updated so I figured I wasn't going to be put in a qualifying lobby. I just checked and was put in one. Hopefully I'll be able to race next week, but just been so busy!! I think I could have made this one maybe, got home around 9! I'll send a message next week in advance if I can't make it so you won't be waiting on me! Sorry if you guys were!

No problem bargain... redneck did see you signed up so we send out an invite. I have updated the sign-up list and lobbies. Please send a friends request to the FMC stock car list so we can find you easily on race night.
