Sadly my promising race ended with Tomcat's pit entry. Tomcat had been in first with Wingnut chasing. Wingnut scrapped the wall and fell back. Tomcat laster hit the wall on lost momentum and Wingnut took the lead. I was gathering Tomcat as well when he announced he was going into the pits. I lifted the throttle but Tomcat broke and drifted left to enter crossing right in my racing line effectively ending both our nights. So much for the 1000 foot lead we had built to that point.
