New to Online racing
Hello all,
I'm new to League racing and want to get out of the gate with my best foot forward. I'm hoping to take part in a beginner/amature series but am open to anything. My question is does anyone have tips or info for me that will get me going in the right direction? Is there a team I should join? Are there "practice sessions available? Or do I just jump in, sign up for the next available tournament and go for it? Any advice/suggestions are welcome.
Thanks!

Re: New to Online racing
All of the series here are for all skill levels. We allow the use of any assist in all of our races, and the majority are run with cosmetic damage only.
Joining a team is totally up to your discretion, it is not mandatory, as far as which team to join, if you so desire, is again, up to you. The majority if not all the teams racing here have fairly open policies about joining.
As far as "practice sessions" go most the time people will mention in the threads of the individual series if they are having practice and when. Mainly just jump in and have fun. If you need assistance just ask, most the time someone will step up and give you a hand, and remember it is, after all, only a game that we all enjoy!

Yea.....just jump in strumlord. That is all I did and believe me.....the whole racing experience will change. No more just battling AI or strangers that you rarely see again. This is a great community, with regular scheduled races. It is awesome !!.
The great thing is that it is all organized for you. Cars, Tracks, Times...you just tune ( where needed-or get a tune from someone else in the community ), practice and then show up and race.
Later on you may want to get involved in helping, like I did, but that was after about a year of watching the admin folks here do such a great job.
C'MON....JUMP IN..... I promise......you will not regret it!!!
Re: New to Online racing
Yeah, jump in with both feet!! The sharks don't bite...much!! LOL!!
Seriously, this is a great league run by a bunch of great guys who love this game. All skill levels are represented and encouraged. Get out there and give it a go! If you would like help, ask! We all want to have fun! The more, the merrier!!
Also, if you would like, feel free to stop by the EZT Motorsport forum!!
Glad you're here!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm liking the place already! Looks like I just missed the GT3 sign ups by a day or two. So I'll just dig around and keep practicing for the next series. Looking forward to jumping in and having a blast.

Welcome aboard Strum, look foward to racing with you. Start practicing in the Seat Leon Supercup with no upgrades and stock tune...hint hint!

Sounds great. But I'm not finding the Seat Leon Supercup on the site. Can you point me in the right Direction?
Thanx.

You and that damn Supercup... I love the car, practice up!
Strum, you can still sign up for the Porsche Cup, the admins reopen them after race one to get any last minute entries.
I look forward to seeing you on the track Strum, I started the exact same way as you are, just pawing through some organized leagues, joined a team after some experience, and its been all fun times!

Thanks Diablo,
I figured that out just a while ago. I got the number plate and the car. Never really messed with painting them though. So my first few paint jobs might not be pretty. LOL.. The main thing is racing. Go easy on me guys! I'm a rookie! Oh yeah OFR... Any particular track you want me to practice on with the Seat Leon SC? Thanks again to all.

Yeah, just get used to the way the Supercup handles on the different tracks. The tracks for the SSTC will be revealed soon, you may want to have a go at Sebring Club until they are revealed.
