Vintage Weekend
*Not actually raced on the weekend.
Im doing some serious testing of a large group of old racecars. 1965 - 1985. Im thinking tiny tracks, club circuits. 150mph will not be in the equation. Here are the cars.
-1965 Alfa Romeo GTA
-1969 Ferrari Dino 246GT
-1969 Datsun 240Z
-1970 Datsun 510
-1970 Porsche 914/6
-1972 Lotus Elan Sprint
-1973 Porsche 911 RS
-1973 BMW 2002 Turbo
-1980 Fiat 131 Abarth
-1980 Renault 5 Turbo
-1984 VW Rabbit GTi
These cars are not perfectly even by any means. But Im trying to figure out a few HP and weight restrictions that I can put into Groups so that nobody breaks the rules. If anybody has some spare change to help me test for this and if their intersted, let me know here.
Im getting them just below 420 PI with all the normal race items and around the same HP, tire size and weight.
EX:
Alfa Romeo: 175 HP / 1650lbs / 418 PI (200HP/1700lbs)
BMW 2002: 200HP / 2100lbs / 419 PI (200HP / 2100lbs)
240Z: 240 HP / 2000lbs / 419 PI (250 HP / 2000lbs)
There are 4 groups to play with, so I can set a few different tune restrictions. Im just working on getting it right. Some of these cars might not make the cut though
