Sorry Viper, rules are you must run the car you started with. May be it will be better on the next couple tracks?

Yeah I saw the rule after I posted... well this week I will actually tune it as I now have the unlocked version and build. Things ought to go a tad better. And yes I can host the muppets this week.

Hehe... small difference between Don and me - in driving skill. Certainly on some tracks it may do better, but in this series all the tracks had long straights and the big muscle would just romp all over me (being asleep this week didn't help my cause either). This week I took off as much aero as I could stand but those Camaros continued to walk on by. In the end its my fault for choosing the car I had but I am not skillful enough to give away 30 PI in car setup to everyone in my room and be competitive.

I used the BMW M6 to win the first season. As for the tracks, I have had a few folks ask about their selection, and why we use these tracks? These were purposely picked to further add to the equality of the cars.

There are 5 tracks broken into equal parts, 2 speed, 2 handling, and 1 combination track that could go either way. Obviously Sebring and Road America are the speed tracks, Catalunya GP and *Motegi are the handling tracks, and Sunset Club Reverse is the perfect combo track for finals. Sunset appears to be a "speed track" as it has a very long straight, but it also has a very tight back section. In testing, a well prepared handling car could run the same lap times as a faster speed car it turns out.

*We may have to reconsider Motegi, and change it out for a tighter handling track in the future.
